Vortex or Nexus Mod Manager dont work for the game. New to the game? Got a question about the subreddit? Chances are that it may have already been answered! Head on over to the F.A.Q page to find out. Mods as a whole for this game are broken and finicky. If it's urgent, then please message the moderators. I personally dont use a lot of mods because of this, as I dont want to go through the painful process of launching one mod at a time so I can change every hero in the game. Lots of mods conflict with eachother and will break the game if you launch with both at the same time. After, have the mod manager launch the game and close it once it opens. You have to trade and compromise for a very long time, launching and relaunching before you can find a mod setup with mods that all work with eachother. Simply open Epic Games Launcher, Origin.Launch FrostyModManagerLaunch the scriptAnd youre setNexusmods Forum Thread. Which is to essentially delete the ModData folder and close everything. Unfortunately though, once I got everything set up with Frosty Mod Manager, I uploaded and launched a mod, only to find that it didnt work. Started over and tried FrostyFix again and this time FrostyFix crashed. The result: FrostyFix stalled and told me it couldn't find a certain folder (which I later renamed, to make a long story short). Watch THIS video, he explains frostyfix on steam there, and azzatru is great.Īnd one mod messing up the whole thing is totally normal. After playing Battlefront II on PS4 for a couple years, I decided to get the game free on the Epic Game Store today, in order to try out some mods that looked fun. Opened FrostyFix as Administrator, told it to launch BfII via Frosty Mod Manager. Just try to launch the game from the fix, the EA desktop will pop up, nothing will happen, but launch it again from the EA desktop. After this my order is:Launch Kyber, configure it, launch the Frosty Mod Manager, launch the Frosty Fix. ![]() As I said before, you have to use 'frostyfix' when you arent using origin. In Frosty mod manager, go to the settings, and select the EA desktop as the launcher for it to use. If you have to launch once without mods then once with, im not sure really. And re-starting your PC helps reset origin and steam and frosty just to keep everything clean. And if something happens and frosty does NOT recreate the folder, then I reccomend just deleting all aspects of frosty from your PC and completely reinstalling a fresh one. ![]() And if you're worried about it breaking frosty, you can just move back the old moddata folder back to the battlefront folder and it will fix whatever may happen, but it is highly unlikely that something bad happens from moving the moddata folder because we know frosty re-creates it anyways. Yes, moving the mod-data folder is a trouble shooting thing, because if the app FMM doesn't find a mod-data folder it will create a new installation of your mod profile and that helps sometimes. The mods i currently have installed i can still play with thanks to frosty fix, but mod manager just doesnt open plain and simple. If you dont have a mod data folder then you dont have to, but you should check. Frosty Mod Manager wont open Trying to open frosty mod manager to install additional mods and the application doesnt open. Whenever I press launch, FMM just minimizes and nothing actually happens. Navigate there through your file folder and move ModData to the desktop. I believe it will be in ThisPC, windows, program files X86, Origin games, Starwars battlefront II. Also move your ModData folder to your desktop, so frosty can re-create a fresh one. And restart your PC and launch battlefront normally in between each time you install or move or uninstall something because if any game files are missing, launching will fix that. (with steam I think you have to use frostyfix which I know basically nothing about except for the fact that it's a pain in the ass.) Im pretty sure you can add it to your origin library and then launch the game normally one time, then install frosty mod manager and add your revan mod then launch. frosty manager 1.0.4.2 fix for battlefront 2 Endorsements 339 Unique DLs 9,050 Total DLs 11,084 Total views 68,845 Version 1. Just launch and install the game through origin if you want to use mods. Even if you launch from steam, it uses origin in game and your origin account. ![]()
